Good day Brethren in Christ Jesus. It’s another brand new day.
We give glory to God for the privilege of life and for His unending mercy and grace upon us always. Praise God!
STUDYING AND UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE – PART 465
Isaiah Chapter 61 concluded…
We have been able to dissect the first two verses of this chapter and I believe everyone who read it has understood the difference between casting out of demons (for unbelievers who are possessed with evil spirits) and deliverance (which is Salvation which brings forgiveness of sins and total freedom to those who believe in the finished work of Christ).
Deliverance, which is Salvation or forgiveness is preached and not just a conjecture of the hands. Deliverance is all encompassing. It takes care of one’s total freedom after receiving Christ genuinely.
It breaks every form of spiritual yoke and bondage and then translates one into the Kingdom of Christ. Col 1:13-15
YOU NOW OPERATE FROM A DIFFERENT DOMAIN- THE DOMAIN OF CHRIST JESUS.
Now let’s quickly conclude this Chapter.
Isaiah 61:3-4
[3]To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
[4]And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
Note that a life that has received Christ is a beautiful life. It’s a transformed life.
From that moment on, all your past terrible experiences are wiped off. Your spiritual slate is wiped clean as if nothing happened.
Everything will begin to work together for your good because you are now in Christ. The rest of Chapter 61 is about restoration of everything lost initially. What a wonderful, loving and caring God.
Romans 8:28-31
[28]And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
[29]For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
[30]Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
[31]What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Even if you face challenges, the assurance is there that you have a Saviour who is going through them with you and providing a way out.
To be continued…Praise God.
Please, let’s declare this together:
I am totally convinced and I declare that every detail of my life is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into my life. God my Father knew me before I was born and loves me so much. He has called me to fulfill His designed purpose. I share the likeness of Christ Jesus. Amen!!!
