They had no fault against the Messiah. Same applies to you too as a Believer. No power of darkness can condemn you.
Good day People of God in Christ Jesus.
We give glory to God for the gift of another new day, we thank God for the privilege of life and for His unending mercy and grace upon us always. Praise God!
STUDYING AND UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE – PART 442
Isaiah Chapter 50 concluded…
We must never forget as we round off this Chapter today that the prophecy in it is all about the Messiah (Christ).
Isaiah 50:7-9 KJV
For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
[8] He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
[9] Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
The above verses have been summarised in the Epistle of Paul to the Romans 8:31: If God is for us, who can be against us?
Let’s read what Jesus Himself said regarding that:
John 14:30 TPT
I won’t speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this dark world is coming. But he has no power over me, for he has nothing to use against me.
The above first applied to Christ and then to us.
The reason the verses apply to us is simply because we are in Christ.
We must always stand in this reality of total victory and subjugate every voice of condemnation in Christ.
Let’s now consider the final verses…
Isaiah 50:10-11 KJVS
Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.
[11] Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow.
Prophet Isaiah already opened the Chapter by presenting the Messiah using figurative expressions.
He then concluded his message by allowing his audience to make their choices whether to receive the true Light (the Messiah) or they can decide to create their own lights (disobedience especially in Idolatry, which was very common those days and up till now).
Isaiah also provided his audience with the consequences that followed each of the choices provided, namely:
👉Receive the true Light (Christ) and live.
👉Reject the true light by creating yours and perish.
That’s why he said in verse 11 that:
But if you presume to light your own torch, you are playing with fire. So go ahead, walk in the light of your own fires and the sparks you have kindled. But I can promise you this: it will take you down into torment!
No wonder Jesus said in John 9:39-41 TPT
And Jesus said, “I have come to judge those who think they see and make them blind. And for those who are blind, I have come to make them see.”
[40] Some of the Pharisees were standing nearby and overheard these words. They interrupted Jesus and said, “You mean to tell us that we are blind?”
[41] Jesus told them, “If you would acknowledge your blindness, then your sin would be removed. But now that you claim to see, your sin remains with you!”
To be continued…Praise God.
Our prayers for everyone on this platform: By the authority in the name of Jesus Christ,
👉Every arrow of condemnation and accusation from the ruler of this dark world and his representatives targeted against you and your family is hereby destroyed completely, in Jesus name.
👉They will have no power over you or any of your family member in Jesus name.
👉Every crack around you that they may want to use as ladder for penetration, be sealed by the blood of Jesus.
