True Worship Amidst Crisis

A Sunday Without Church: In Crisis, a Nation Asks, ‘What is Community?’

Canceled religious services are another symbol of a lost chance to be still, to breathe and to gather together.

Instead of greeting thousands of worshipers, volunteers stood in the damp cold, ready to explain to anyone who might not have heard that services are now online only, at least until the threat of Covid-19 has passed.

Read the conversation of Jesus with the Samaritan woman..

“Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
~ John 4:21-23 KJV

PROPER WORSHIP IS NOT IN PHYSICAL BUILDINGS BUT IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH.

TRUE WORSHIP IS NOT CONFINED TO ONE PLACE OR NATION.

Jesus said, “The hour cometh – The time is coming, or is near..when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.”

THE HOUR IS HERE!!

GOD IS SPIRIT! He is incorporeal, immaterial, invisible, and incorruptible. A pure, a holy, a spiritual worship, therefore, is such as He seeks – the offering of the soul rather than the formal offering of the body – the homage of the heart rather than that of the lips.

WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF YOUR HEART??

This is the time to wait on God and cry unto Him in your secret place.

2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

SHALOM!
